About
My name is Grzegorz Jankowski. My friends (or simply people who can’t pronounce “Grzegorz”) call me Gregor or Greg. I’m CG artist living in Warsaw Poland and I’m specializing in 3d animation, vfx and “all the cool stuff”. I’ve been in the Industry since 2003.
Along with my friends (like Jerzy Drozda Jr who you probably know already from maltaannon.com) we’re running or own company called Polygon Studio. We deal with 3D graphics, animation, web solutions, DTP, postproduction and compositing for film, commercials and video clips. If you need a professional assistance in any project involving creative thinking in any area of multimedia make sure to get in touch with us.
My friends have encouraged me to start up a site where I could post tutorials with complex 3d graphics and animation. Pretty much the same thing as Maltaannon does with After Effects. It took a while to do this because I’m lazy and my English sucks (which you can tell from my voice overs). But you don’t know my colleagues. Thanks to them (and their bugging) I’ve finally managed to make it happen.
Those tutorials are meant to help you and other artists find their way around 3d applications and handling 3d output for further processing. I’m working on 3ds max, but if you prefer to use any other 3d package, you will find out that all things translate to other software packages as well. It’s like math – works everywhere and for everyone.
I like to show solutions of certain tasks, guide you through unconventional use of well known methods rather then retyping the manual and doing “3d spinning logo” tutorials. I will try to deliver as much valuable information, tips and resources to achieve good results with minimum effort. You will see every move I make. You will be wathing me 24/7. That kinda scares the living crap out of me… but who cares.
Weather your a professional, or if you’re just starting your adventure with visual effects and motion graphics I’m sure that you will enjoy my tutorials. If you do, please leave a comment (no registration required) . They will keep me going. If you have some cool ideas for tutorials, suggestions, or you simply want to say “Thanks man! You’re the best” make sure to email me.
